UGDF Gen 3 section a

Logan found himself in Principle Woreman's meeting room. John, his friend since high school slid in a seat beside him. There were four other teachers, none of whom knew exactly why they had been called in. They all exchanged normal greetings and queries as to what reason they could have possibly been called in.

Lois, Mr. Woreman's secretary had brought them all tea. She was a tall thin and wiry woman, in body and personality. One could make the mistake of believing her to be a bit air headed, which Logan had learned she defiantly was NOT and flighty, which she certainly was. Her bright personality pervaded the group, putting every one at ease.

Ms. Orgle - the ever vergin almost impossible to get allong with math teacher sat a bit to herself as if the rest of them were certainly not good enough for her, would have sat at the head of the table. However, the table was oval shaped so this was not a possibility. Mr Johnson, the Social Sciences teacher was next, he of rather lage girth and sloppy appearance, Himself, for Chemistry, John for English/Literature, Ms Lemmings for History, a rather strick, stern and uptight lady, though no where near the annoyance caliber of Ms. Orgle, and Mr Mulvy for Russian, a rather thick necked man. (there are others I do not feel like making up right now)

Mr Woreman, pronounced Vorman invaded the room while being scolded by Lois for being late. An odd turn of events he looked rather haggered, five o clock shadow even though it was it was before homeroom, his clothes haphazardly put together. His short black hair seemed to stand on end, making the silver more predominant than usual. His rugged face punctuated with dark circles around his startling ice blue eyes, his pallor making his strong features look sallow. Logan and John eyed eachother worredly, what could have afffected this strong man in this way?

Two years ago, St. Anne's highschool had been almost a war zone amongst the students, almost as bad as the inner city where John had worked for ten years before it closed. There were problems in every fascet of the school. Then, for some undisclosed reason, Stuart Collins, possibly the richest, most powerful man in the world, funded a face lift, a library, a martial arts center specifically, then provided funding for every department. It was practically rebuilt with Mr. Worman being the new designated principle. The school bord, which Stuart Collins was now a part of, nominated new teachers and sadly many were dismissed by Mr. Woreman. He had called in a private security detail among other things and a very strict, no nonsense policy, putting more emphasis on scolastic activities than sports.

Sports were still well funded, but somehow, Mr. Woreman had turned this school around. Logan suspected he did this for Acis. Acis Collens, the renown Composer and clothing designer had started teaching here five years ago. No one could quite fathom why. And one never quite got the chance to ask. Acis, seemingly stuck in the 18 century fashion with the 'dandy' look and the wigs and lace and waste coats, who spoke extensively with his hands and had such a bright and upbeat personalty was a distraction with in himself. If he noticed his fashion was a bit out of date he certainly did not care. He was the poster model for individuality and self confidence.

For the five years he had been teaching across the hall from Logan. Every class was an exciting chain of events full of flourish and high energy, and much wrist flapping. Logan kept his door open to enjoy the show. There were many things about Acis that one could not, and did not want to ignore and his classes were enjoyable even from the distance from across the hall. Logan had often speculated that Acis would be unable to speak if his hands where tied.

Once John had lost his school, Logan had requested to Mr. Woreman that he be hired. He had been pleasantly surprised that his suggestion was so readily accepted and acted upon. Though no one really had problems with Mr. Woreman, he seemed rather easy going until last year when Brian VFalecore became head of the Math department by mandate of the school board. Mr. Woreman had been vehemently opposed to this, had had demanded a compromise by sacking the useless assistant vice principle and replacing him with his own sister. Veronica Woreman-VFalcore.

There were many rumors in regards to this, all of which the three of them did not acknowledge. However, Mrs. Woreman-VFalcore, and English / Lit teacher with many years experience slid into place nicely and was quite proficient in her job. Even as Brian, unlikely as it seemed, was an excellent teacher, even if he was never presentable and had no people skills. His regular attire was what ever heavy metal t-shirt and jeans, usually ripped and boots. He kept his white-blond hair short and slouched about, profanity being his primary language unless lecturing in class, and always had a bottle of some type of liqueur while chain smoking. No one could understand how this was allowed, but apparently it was and Mr. Woreman would not even listen to complaints but would send any querie to the School Bord, as it was so completely obvious that he did not want Brian there at all.

Mr. Woreman cleared his throat as he sat down heavily. He looked at each teacher and sighed deeply as a man with quite a bit of weight on his shoulders would. The man who had turned the disaster that was St. Anne's into the thriving award winning school in just two years.

"I have called you here today to inform you of the new students you will be...." his cheek twitched. "taking on." He handed out information packets. "She just finished placement testing and as you could probably tell by all of you being here, she will be in all AP classes. Her name..." he took another breath while his expression filled with foreboding, " is Chaos Collins. Up until now, she has been privately tutored and has never been in a school, let alone a public one."

He glared, the embodiment of hostility at his papers, every one opened them to glance at the test scores to see her strengths and weaknesses, scholastically - there were no weaknesses, Logan and John glanced at each other - why was she even going to school was the question. Logan's eyes caught the personality assessment and tried not to wince, apparently she was belligerent and did not value other people.

Mr. Woreman took another deep breath. "I was not given the details, but she has recently been through a traumatizing experience and has a tendency to be paranoid and to meet any type of conflict with intense violence. She does not take instructions well, nor is she in the habbit of following any rules other than her own." He said this in almost a growl. Logan had always found the man a bit wolf like.

"Why on earth is she ... even allowed to come to a public school, should she not be sent to one more suited to her.... special needs?" Ms. Orgle asked snidely. Logan tried not to wince at the sound of her voice, John didnt bother trying.

Mr. Woreman eyes darted to her sharply. "I couldnt agree more, however her father, Mr. Stuar Collins insisted that she not be deprived of the social interaction of her ....pears." he growled the last part.

"As you may know, Mr. Stuart Collins has completed his two island .... homested which is, of course, zoned for this school. It is called Collins Port. " as this point Mr. Woreman rolled his eyes. "As there are ports surrounding the island. He has moved his entire research and developement not to mention the entirety of his family there. This includes, the Sterling's the VFalcore's and Gebhearts."

Logan was a bit taken aback with each family name. (insert reason why they are known here)
"The entirety of each family has Diplomatic immunity." Ah, Logan though, that makes sense considering Brian's state of being. As far as I can tell, " Mr. Woreman looked at the papers he had been clutching, "Mr. Stuart Collins has instructed that if Chaos is given detention she will have to appear." Another low growl emanated from the man's large, muscular frame.

Logan flipped through the papers until he came to her picture. For just a moment his heart stoped and his breathing stilled. He had never seen such an elegant, beautiful and poised female outside of an Audry Hepburn movie. Her straight blood red hair was a shock and her dark emerald green eyes almost seemed alive in the picture, grabbing him in a vice grip. Not suprisingly, she was wearing an Acis Collins original. She did not look happy. There was an emptiness in her eyes that plumited deep into Logan's soul, the expression on her face was wary. All this from a 16 year old girl? She certainly did NOT look 16. Why did Woreman put her in his class ??? Why him ???

He slid his eyes to John, who was staring open mouthed at the picture. Logan was almost relieved, he didnt want to think it was just him, though the female teachers had an envious look on their faces and the others... well (insert expressions here)

"Please do your best, I doubt we can get rid of this situation. Now, " He passed out two more files. " Also coming from Collinsport will Keopp Tallaria, though not a Collins, Stearling or Gebheart, his family also has diplomatic immunity. I expect you to keep a tight reign on this boy ... " and with a tense voice "... as much as possible"

Logan looked at the file and tried not to smile, he could see John was trying not to as well, this one was a trouble maker, but not in a dangerous way. He was an exuberant talker, a practical joker, full of energy and mischievousness. An orderly person's worst nightmare. He had a friendly face, a large smile and sparkling violet eyes, surrounded by unruely curly red hair. He seemed ... incredably pale, rather like Brian VFalcore... he wondered if they were some how related, 5th cousins 12 times removed or something along those lines. He seemed like he would bring life into any class he walked in, and a certain amount of hysterical calamity. His grades were above average in normal classes but normal in ap classes. Looking at his records, he had a mixture of normal placement with AP. Logan was mildly looking forward to meeting this one.

"And lastly, Royal Stearling. He is not a behavior problem, and should be quite easy to handle. As far as I know. " Mr Woreman said while looking through his copy of the file, as if this were a surprise and he could not believe such a thing was possible from this individual. He was an above average student yet seemed to have all his classes with Keopp, Logan suspected that this was purposefully done in order to counter balance personalities. It seemed Royal - second syllable accented, had a very mild, straight forward, respectful and calm personality. He had sandy blond hair, falling past his shoulders, kept back neetly. He dressed, like Chaos, in an Acis Collins original and had very feline features. His almond shaped ambar eyes spoke of a deep understanding that most people his age did not possess, unlike Chaos's haunted eyes. His physique was lithe and sturdy and athletic, though, he didn't seeem to be interested in joining any sports.

"Considering thier diplomatic status and the sensitive nature of certain behavioral issues, I felt I should tell all of you this personally. It is certainly not my decision to have any of these disruptive influences here. " He sad as if Royal's record detailed a mass of violations. "DAMNIT WOMAN !" he yelped as Lois poured a bit of scalding coffe on his arm.

"Oh dear, my hand seemed to have slipped, let me get you some burn cream." She said far to brightly for any type of accident.

"and my pepto." Mr. Woreman growled. He then looked at all of them in a weary and tired way. "Good luck to you all." He said getting up and leaving, as if he was sending them out into battle.

UGDF 001

Maalik Briggs starred at the stars in the view-screeen, trying not to see the three massive Hallaton warships. He couldn't really pronounce the word Marella had said in regards to the species that inhabited those war-ships- so his brain came up with a more simple and completely arbitrary word.

Marella was standing behind him, tapping her foot impatiently. She wanted him to leave the planet. She was, after all, his body guard and had his best survival options in mind. This filled him with forbidding, he was from this planet - and there weren't that many on it that knew of the other races in the many quadrants of the universe. As far as he knew Galactic Central had barred this planet from being visited/used/taken over.... but the Hallitons, according to Marella, were not part of Galactic Central.

One planet, that had nothing to offer the rest of the universe was certainly not enough cause to revel G.C. into protecting it. Humans, in one form or another had long since proliferated the universe - there was no shortage of them. Originally, this planet had been settled by a group of throw backs who had sworn off technology and wanted to be completely isolated and left out of the workings and ministrations of the rest of the Known Universe.

It was also one of the secret retreats of the Legionaries. Marella, was a Legionary herself. Raised to fight, battle and war since she was old enough to grasp things. Many people may not have agreed with thier culture, but in a seething Universe, their only commodore was their survival skills, which they honed and trained into the perfect soldier.

Originally, the Legionaries had one home planet and were rather respected throughout the Known Universe. Maalik was never told why or what exactly happened, but their planet was attacked and only few survived. After taking their vengeance, they then searched the Known Universe for a new home. Instead of letting their culture die out, they collected orphans as one would collect trading cards. Due to some disease the survivors contracted, they had an unbreakable metal alloy transplanted into their bones - so as their bones became brittle and broke down, the metal alloy survived. The Legionaries are rather democratic, and even though the replacement process is incredibly painful, they elected to have the replacement as soon as they were old enough to go off planet for missions. After ten or so generations, the operation was no longer necessary. The Legionaries now had a genetic bio-metal skeleton.

As a result of the paranoia of having one's planet blown up and their original race destroyed, only as much as 1/3 of the population ( if that) was ever allowed to remain on any one of the three commonly known Legionary planets at a time. Earth, was one of the secret retreats. Marella's foot tapping invaded his thoughts, were the Legionaries just going to leave this planet and abandon its people ?

Rather like Legionaries the Hallitons had thier bio-metal but not their skeletal structure, it was their skin- and with more problems. The Hallitons were a dying race. Maalik knew less about why and the inner workings of their culture as he did the Legionaries. He just knew that due to some undisclosed reason, they were rendered sterile, so they attempted cloning, which worked for a while, but they were now degrading as a species, and fewer clones were surviving. It was rumored that they were collecting humans from all over the Known Universe to introduce into their cloning program. They were already a war like race, feared throughout the Known Universe.

They were defiantly not human, they may have started out that way, but when the bio - metal and the regeneration coupled with the double nervous system had been introduced to their dna, they had left humanity far behind. From what Marella told him, thier nails and hair could cut through hull metal - it made Maalik shudder.

The unceasing tapping of her foot was driving him to action, the working of his mind, with the information he had - his eyes full of the three Haliton warships approaching - did not bode for immediate action. She had been his bodyguard for over ten years, never being allowed to leave the planet. Except when he insisted on vacation time and they supplied a temp.

Tap, tap, tap, tap. Maalik was a scientist in the Nasa program, he was very aware that the President had been contacted, and probably all the higher echelons of all other other world governments had noticed as well. Maalik was also from an incredibly wealthy family, who on the surface had donated a few thousand a year to various charities. A few thousand no one missed. He quickly pulled up all bank accounts associated with his family - even he became a bit short of breath at the end total number. He then spend ten agonizing minutes of Marella's foot tapping while he gained control of the funds.

He probably should feel somewhat bad about this, but he knew that he didnt have the money on his own to do this, and this needed to be done. Perhaps this society wasnt worth saving, perhaps all the world cultures didnt deserve to be saved- but Maalik didnt think he could live a comfortable life knowing that he had left the world populace to become equations in some cloning project. Finnally, he turned and faced the six foot redhead. "I would like to hire the Legionaries."

Kakumei backstory

An undetermined time ago, the Great Leviathan, the multiheaded Tiamat rose, Nataraj danced, and RA stumbled on the tail of Apep. It was a time of slow subtle endings when The OTHERS effectively broke through the constraints of dementional time space only hinted with string theory. Having no physical form of their own they invaded, like a virus. Slowely, they were able to bring more beings through thier 'gates'. Gates that were closed so long ago, and by whom we have no knoledge of. These beings have differant names in diferant cultures buy you may recognise - Demons, yokia, shapeshifters, vampires, and thier monsterous ilk. The MINIONS - plage infested, boil ridden canabalistic servants of The OTHERS - spreading the diease of their condition.

The OTHERS affected our plane of being by thier presence instigating THE CHANGE - whre people of certain dna types and boilogical compatabilities enabled thier physiology to mutate, using differant parts of thier brain - adapting, evolving... in the great past, only known to us in myths of the Tuath de Dannan or the ancient east - those who could manipulate thier enviornment in ways that left most people in awe - The Fae, elemental masters. Those who could use thier intoanations effectively remembered vaguely as incantations - magick.

The true goal of the OTHERS was so easy, it was almost impossible to understand: Control, Supremicy. They would control us and every aspect of our lives - to be trite thier goal was to rule the world an everyone in it. A truely staggaring idea. They were almost successfull. In that day and age who believed in such things? Any one who could see the differance between a regular human and an OTHER was thought to be crazy, hallucinating - seeing conspiracies where there were not. Because to the common man none of this was possible.

A few people could See what this was and where this was going, thier beliefs reafermed by the Elemental Masters and the Oracles - the first humans to evolve. A woman named Grail a supposedly regular person, who could see the suble essences around her - the etheric, the demons and fae that were non corporial. Tempest who clearly saw the world as it was - the stark madness of it, which drove the both of them insane. It made them stronger - made their psyche able to deal with the slow changes - They formed a resistance movement, which for many years was looked apon as nothing more than a dangerous vigilanti movement - and it was.

All the while people were Becoming - Grail helped create a new breed of Minion - still cannibalistic, but once they were able to over ride the mental control of their creators - fed only on their own kind. The first being Grail, the second a young man from her past known only as Savage. The two of them continued on their quest to free the minds of Minions and all other people who did not Change from the binds of the OTHERS.

There was a scizm - and the movement split in two, going their differant ways. For many years they worked to fight The Others and thier Minions - Untill Tempest hismelf was captured - reprogramed by the minions - Grail Cracked - broke- conjouring The WIND. It was she who woke the Leviathan, It was she who Invoked Kalie Ma - It was she who danced with Nataraj. The end of the world, the end of our time allong side with Dora, she of the fire, she of Surya, RA, Sekhmet - The first Elemental Master- now a taller fae - She Of The Purifying Flame.

Through nature they broke and healed the planet, rearranging land masses and naming them. She and her group traveled this new world for survivors, reestablishing law and community while collecting what little knowledge there was to be had. Out of the 1/3 of humanity not all were completely surprised, Grail had been warning people for years that The Leviathan - Tiamat would rise. This was the birth of a new age of mankind and the birth of many new things. In her quest for retaining ancient knowledge, a new type of Elemental Master was found - a Technomancer - one who could manipulate her surroundings and emulate technology.

Grail created The Learning Centers in the magnetic center of each landmass - these Centers also contained each government, army and police force and what ever internal agents might be had, making sure to bring calm into the chaos that the end of the world had brought about. She put a ban on 'advanced' weaponry such as guns - she also banned that which poisons the atmosphere - effectively outlawing the use of fossil fuels. The Technomancers of this age creating the most amazing means to supplement that which was destroyed.

Grail then took her most loyal followers and 'retired' to Egypt. One of the few places The Dance of Destruction and Fire did not touch - as Grail would have loathed to destroy ancient relics. She named herself Queen - with The Leviathan and Salamander Fae Dora - reestablishing the Ancient Ways - restoring temples. She closed off the borders so thoroughly that over the years, many people could not find it.

One country ignored the ban - recreating what they remembered of 'society' and the 'standard of living', not to mention armaments. After all, 500 years had passed, Grail was only a myth. The country sent agents out to find Egypt now called by its true name of Kemet or Tamery - in order to conquer. Grail and Dora rose as a combined force - defeating them with ease - creating a space surrounding Tamery - an odd place that would become to be known as the null zone - it changed everyone's life those who entered. It was this place that a more evolved human was born - each having specific talents only dreamed about in our age, close to the Magi and the Fae, but not exactly either. They were welcomed in the world, becoming mercenaries, spies, assassins and on occasion - Cult leaders. Though some would try to lead relatively normal lives - their skills were more often than not, desired in great quantity. Grail and Tamery returned back into their peaceful detachment from the rest of the world, Dora becoming the Regent Master Instructor of the Hekau Learning Center and the only person outside of Tamery to be able to talk to Grail.

Again - Grail and Tamery became that of myth and legend. New Societies and countries rose and fell. There will always be evil - and the learning centers train scholars,Healers, Magi, Elemental, Sohei, Technomages to combat the evil, while providing a useful function to the smooth running of society

New Introduction

This was my original blog. Then I thought the 'ramblings' part left this blog sounding less than serious. So, in any case I will transfer shemsu thoughts back here, (eventually) because I do tend to ramble quite a bit and I dont think this should be as much of a problem as it was. Funny how the ego bites the forehead some times, this old blog of mine will be used primarily to each of my characters (in my book) reading list and their own spiritual growth - I am even thinking of having some of the write journals - not sure yet.

I also want to try to motivate myself so that I will keep up with all the email journals I subscribe to - I have had a very busy year and have not had as much time as I want. I also want to continue my imvu art that support my story. I am not a very good visual artist - I cant draw a straight line to save my life.
