Yamaguchi Jiro

"Yamaguchi Jiro. Age at death, 27. A former Tokugawa retainer, he joined Shinsengumi in Kyoto, serving as an assistant commander. He was a skilled and fierce swordsman. Coming to Aizu, he fought and won distinguishment, becoming unit commander. On the 4th day of the 9th month of Keio 4 (1868 ), he fought alongside 13 comrades at Nyoraido in Aizu, surrounded on all four sides by over 300 enemies. Taking the Choshu men down with him, he died a resplendent death. Truly he was a splendid, faithful, and brave warrior."

Heaven and Hell

Heaven And Hell

Most belief systems has them, and the concept is generally used as a tool, if not a scare tactic to enforce positive behavior. Many people who have had near death experiances see the light, some times 'heaven' or 'hell'. When studdying with a shamen when I was 19, I learned about shattered souls, and the idea of retreaving them. Now, Im not sure if its because one of my teacher refers to the 'other' planes as shadow paths, or if its because I find it fun to do so, that is how I refer to them.

About the same time I studdied with the shamen I also met a rather... interesting guy who knew a lot about ceramonial magic. He knew some very interesting things, and I have never since met anyone quite as knowledgeable. He painted for me, the 'plaines' in a grid of nine. I was very young and nieve at the time and I looked at it and asked why would anyone in thier right mind go to any of thse places. He just chuckled at me.

In a buddhist text I was reading I came accross a theory that sat very well with me and offers me what I consider a plausable explination as to the many plethera of differant heavens and hells. It all has to do with fixation. It is what your mind attatches itself to, and that is where you will go. Of course Im over simplifying this. Im certainly not saying the heaven and hell planes dont exsist as I truely believe that the will creates constructs, even if it is a plane of reality or 'something else' so to speak.

I think this theory puts many things into perspective. It was reinforced when I went on a journey for a particular spirit, and I encountered a shadow plane I was completely unfamilliar with, after describing it to an Historian, I was told I was describing the Warrior Hell.

The Divisions of the Soul

The Divisions of The Soul

I did some traveling around the net looking for what people say on this topic. My information is coming from Rosemary Clark's book Sacred Tradition of Ancient Egypt, or Sacred Magic of Ancient Egypt. It's interesting that you will generally find from 5 to 9 divisions. Many people like to stick with seven, as 7 is an important numerical correspondence. The most interesting thing I found so far, was from a person, who, like me read the works of Ra Um Nefer.

Like Dr. Muata Ashby, Ra Um Nefer notices the consistencies between Hinduism, Buddhism and Neterism. I didn't really start noticing the big picture untill I started studdying Hinduism, and then went back through many of my books and realised that several authors, especially the two above cited Hindu and Buddhist works. Also, I want to point out that Swaller De Lubucz noticed this as well, and is usually cited in many works regarding Ancient Egytpian Tradition aka Neterism.

This persons sources include Ra Um Nefer and Gerald Massey which I think is a bit scetchy myself. Ra Um Nefer had a habbit of quoting from Swaller De Lubicz works word for word, but did not cite him in his bibliography (or I just missed it) I happen to have all but two of de Lubicz published works, which is the only reasion I noticed it. Im sure he could have been quoting from John Anthony West, who is quite familiar with de Lubicz's works, but it still rubbed me the wrong way, because when I say word for word I mean it. I may be over critical, he could have just been quoting Serpant in the Sky which was sited in his bibliography. As for Gerald Massey, I have no opinion of either way. I never read his works. He isnt on my reading list of 50 or so Egyptologists. (neither was R.A.Schwaller de Lubicz... or Barbera Mertz but they are very knowledgable and their writing style is engrossing)

As a spiritual healer one comes across fragmented and shattered souls quite often. You could hit your head on a really big rock and fragment yourself. Its really not hard to do. Of course any kind of trauma will do this, physical or psychological. I doupt they always shatter allong the proper divisions, however the concept still leads me back to them.

In the books by rosemary Clark and in the book of coming forth by day, there is an agreement of the divisions, so that is my basis. The Book of Coming forth By Day is the actual name for the book of the dead.

The Khaibit is the shadow of the elemental world. A mirror image of the body, animal or elemental.

The Khat, physical form. that which decays. This is the vessel of your Ka.

The Ka
double-etheric body. both ntr and humans have one or seven.... it carries the imprint of the body, so if you are astrally traveling... then that is what part of you it is. This is the immortal part. It is also intelligent and tends to remember all the different people its been. hence how there is no such thing as reincarnation, but at the same time... there is... as it is the Ka that does this, but the ka isn't the only part of the soul which affects you while you are living... there are other facets involved, so in a sense its not the same person as last life time as it is ever fluid and changing. Just like due to kensho you are no longer the person you were two years ago.... yet you are....

EVERYTHING living possesses a KA, this does include plants, animals, temples, idols, your pc (REI) the earth itself and all that is on it, the stars, the rocks on Stonehenge..... the fish eyes in my soup...

BA-- your personal soul. or your 'ghost' astral body. The Ba can transmigrate and do remote viewing. This is the part that likes to go for walks ... I swear it wanders all over the place... so if you have weird dreams and are told you are remote viewing or if you see things in dreams that actually happen, then this is your BA. They used to have lots of ambulates to call it back (talk about fragmented soul) cause it has a tendency to wander and not return until its called. This is your short attention span....

The Ab -- or heart soul. this is where all your materialistic passions are. It is the samurai part.... (just can't leave that shit alone) for example here is where your conscience desires, honor, dignity and truth are here. your life memory is here as well. Your Ab determines what kind of incarnation you will have next or if you return to Ntr. Also it determines whether you are so vile that you are eaten by Ammit to later be recreated in the Tepi-aui-Un ...ect ect.

The Akh-- the light of soul type thing... your spiritual intelligence. Imperishable and transcends time and space. So this thing is directly connected to Ntr Ntru or you can say Akashic record. This is you as a 'being of light'

Djed - speech. or hku. hmm my comment would be to say it is partially your Ari/ karma (Im not sure I used the correct word there) and you as Ntr. As all was created through the Hku of Djehuti we are all the hku, therefore we are Ntr.

The Sahu. The Origin of ALL spirits. I would say this is a connection to the primordial ooze in which we all originate

Skhem - the vital force. personal will.

Sa- your life force.

Since the soul can shatter and fragment on its own and there are all those different divisions of it (and no, I don't quite understand all that as of yet) I'm sure that we ourselves can fragment to go a roving... or get stuck in our own created hell.

ok Now for that seven devision thing. I found this Here:

Notes on suffering and affliction

The heart of Prajnaparameta Sutra

venerable Tripitaka Master Hsuan Hua

Three kinds of suffering
Suffering of suffering itself
suffering of decay
suffering of the activity of the five skanhas

8 kinds of suffering of which the first four are produced from the body. (birth sickness, old age and death)

external situations, being apart from loved ones, being around those you detest, not obtaining what you seek, the 'flourishing' of the five skandhas.

there are 84,000 kinds of affliction

twenty subsidary afflictions - they follow you and me (Im guessing its on an individual basis)

This is THE BEGINNING, and its probably the last thing people think about when they ask me to teach them. Ethics.
Im not sure if its because now people just assume the 'teacher' will not go over this, or insist they have any ? When I
started studdying seriously with my first teacher, this was my beginning. There are many text out there that discuss
"proper behavior" from Anqeshok to Ptah-Hotep. Many who have approached me asking about Ancient Egyptian
Magick are usually not thinking they are going to get lessions in proper behavoir. Usually they do expect to lear at
least about the dieties. One of my former students mentioned, after reviewing a lession plan for a group, introducing
Kemet/Tamery (ancient egypt) and her dieties grumbled that he learned more editing that than he had from me in the
six months I had taken him on.

My favorite excersis, that seemed to take students more than two weeks to do was to go through this list and write one
or two thoughts in regards to how it is still aplicable today. I also had in my possession another book by Dr. Ashby, a
study guide for the negitive confession where he broke them down into sections, for example Right Speach, Right
Behavior and other such things, and then included text from kemetic Saages and how certain aspects were cariied
over into the 10 Commandments.

My Teacher explained very long ago that the priests of her temple would Read this In the morning after waking and then
again in the evening before going to sleep. I think this should be touched on, as this activity helps you keep yourself in
check so to speak. Of course the negitive confession appears in more than the book of going forth by day/ aka the papyrus
of Ani. It was part of a manuscript burried with the dead, in order to assist them in thier afterlife. Though I have herd of the
practice of reading it when a loved one dies. There isn't just ONE negitive confession to be found in ancient text,
sometimes there are 30 or more than 42, sometimes its in the manner of a brief statement, insted of many declariations.

This alwsys make me thin of the Four Noble Truthes and the Eigthfold Path. Life is suffering. The origin of this suffering,
is because people have attatchments.Attatchments can be 'let go' aka the cessasion of suffering the last noble truth
is the path to the cessasion of sufffering through the Eight Fold Path.

Prajna is the sanskrit word for Wisedom and here we have
Right View
Right Thought

Sila is the sanskrit word for Ethical Conduct
Right Speach
Right Action
Right Livelyhood

Samadhi the sanskrit word for right Consentration
Right Effort
Right Mindfullness.
Right Concentration

Even in the wisdom text are the above considered and quite apparent.
Ptah-hotep even had something I consider a manual of proper behavior. Keeping all of this in mind, I think one could
have an improved life whether they adhear to any specific Traditional teaching or not.
True wisdom, does not very from culter to culter, though the words may be differant, as thier symbols, they say
just about the same thing.

UGDF Gen 3 section a

Logan found himself in Principle Woreman's meeting room. John, his friend since high school slid in a seat beside him. There were four other teachers, none of whom knew exactly why they had been called in. They all exchanged normal greetings and queries as to what reason they could have possibly been called in.

Lois, Mr. Woreman's secretary had brought them all tea. She was a tall thin and wiry woman, in body and personality. One could make the mistake of believing her to be a bit air headed, which Logan had learned she defiantly was NOT and flighty, which she certainly was. Her bright personality pervaded the group, putting every one at ease.

Ms. Orgle - the ever vergin almost impossible to get allong with math teacher sat a bit to herself as if the rest of them were certainly not good enough for her, would have sat at the head of the table. However, the table was oval shaped so this was not a possibility. Mr Johnson, the Social Sciences teacher was next, he of rather lage girth and sloppy appearance, Himself, for Chemistry, John for English/Literature, Ms Lemmings for History, a rather strick, stern and uptight lady, though no where near the annoyance caliber of Ms. Orgle, and Mr Mulvy for Russian, a rather thick necked man. (there are others I do not feel like making up right now)

Mr Woreman, pronounced Vorman invaded the room while being scolded by Lois for being late. An odd turn of events he looked rather haggered, five o clock shadow even though it was it was before homeroom, his clothes haphazardly put together. His short black hair seemed to stand on end, making the silver more predominant than usual. His rugged face punctuated with dark circles around his startling ice blue eyes, his pallor making his strong features look sallow. Logan and John eyed eachother worredly, what could have afffected this strong man in this way?

Two years ago, St. Anne's highschool had been almost a war zone amongst the students, almost as bad as the inner city where John had worked for ten years before it closed. There were problems in every fascet of the school. Then, for some undisclosed reason, Stuart Collins, possibly the richest, most powerful man in the world, funded a face lift, a library, a martial arts center specifically, then provided funding for every department. It was practically rebuilt with Mr. Worman being the new designated principle. The school bord, which Stuart Collins was now a part of, nominated new teachers and sadly many were dismissed by Mr. Woreman. He had called in a private security detail among other things and a very strict, no nonsense policy, putting more emphasis on scolastic activities than sports.

Sports were still well funded, but somehow, Mr. Woreman had turned this school around. Logan suspected he did this for Acis. Acis Collens, the renown Composer and clothing designer had started teaching here five years ago. No one could quite fathom why. And one never quite got the chance to ask. Acis, seemingly stuck in the 18 century fashion with the 'dandy' look and the wigs and lace and waste coats, who spoke extensively with his hands and had such a bright and upbeat personalty was a distraction with in himself. If he noticed his fashion was a bit out of date he certainly did not care. He was the poster model for individuality and self confidence.

For the five years he had been teaching across the hall from Logan. Every class was an exciting chain of events full of flourish and high energy, and much wrist flapping. Logan kept his door open to enjoy the show. There were many things about Acis that one could not, and did not want to ignore and his classes were enjoyable even from the distance from across the hall. Logan had often speculated that Acis would be unable to speak if his hands where tied.

Once John had lost his school, Logan had requested to Mr. Woreman that he be hired. He had been pleasantly surprised that his suggestion was so readily accepted and acted upon. Though no one really had problems with Mr. Woreman, he seemed rather easy going until last year when Brian VFalecore became head of the Math department by mandate of the school board. Mr. Woreman had been vehemently opposed to this, had had demanded a compromise by sacking the useless assistant vice principle and replacing him with his own sister. Veronica Woreman-VFalcore.

There were many rumors in regards to this, all of which the three of them did not acknowledge. However, Mrs. Woreman-VFalcore, and English / Lit teacher with many years experience slid into place nicely and was quite proficient in her job. Even as Brian, unlikely as it seemed, was an excellent teacher, even if he was never presentable and had no people skills. His regular attire was what ever heavy metal t-shirt and jeans, usually ripped and boots. He kept his white-blond hair short and slouched about, profanity being his primary language unless lecturing in class, and always had a bottle of some type of liqueur while chain smoking. No one could understand how this was allowed, but apparently it was and Mr. Woreman would not even listen to complaints but would send any querie to the School Bord, as it was so completely obvious that he did not want Brian there at all.

Mr. Woreman cleared his throat as he sat down heavily. He looked at each teacher and sighed deeply as a man with quite a bit of weight on his shoulders would. The man who had turned the disaster that was St. Anne's into the thriving award winning school in just two years.

"I have called you here today to inform you of the new students you will be...." his cheek twitched. "taking on." He handed out information packets. "She just finished placement testing and as you could probably tell by all of you being here, she will be in all AP classes. Her name..." he took another breath while his expression filled with foreboding, " is Chaos Collins. Up until now, she has been privately tutored and has never been in a school, let alone a public one."

He glared, the embodiment of hostility at his papers, every one opened them to glance at the test scores to see her strengths and weaknesses, scholastically - there were no weaknesses, Logan and John glanced at each other - why was she even going to school was the question. Logan's eyes caught the personality assessment and tried not to wince, apparently she was belligerent and did not value other people.

Mr. Woreman took another deep breath. "I was not given the details, but she has recently been through a traumatizing experience and has a tendency to be paranoid and to meet any type of conflict with intense violence. She does not take instructions well, nor is she in the habbit of following any rules other than her own." He said this in almost a growl. Logan had always found the man a bit wolf like.

"Why on earth is she ... even allowed to come to a public school, should she not be sent to one more suited to her.... special needs?" Ms. Orgle asked snidely. Logan tried not to wince at the sound of her voice, John didnt bother trying.

Mr. Woreman eyes darted to her sharply. "I couldnt agree more, however her father, Mr. Stuar Collins insisted that she not be deprived of the social interaction of her ....pears." he growled the last part.

"As you may know, Mr. Stuart Collins has completed his two island .... homested which is, of course, zoned for this school. It is called Collins Port. " as this point Mr. Woreman rolled his eyes. "As there are ports surrounding the island. He has moved his entire research and developement not to mention the entirety of his family there. This includes, the Sterling's the VFalcore's and Gebhearts."

Logan was a bit taken aback with each family name. (insert reason why they are known here)
"The entirety of each family has Diplomatic immunity." Ah, Logan though, that makes sense considering Brian's state of being. As far as I can tell, " Mr. Woreman looked at the papers he had been clutching, "Mr. Stuart Collins has instructed that if Chaos is given detention she will have to appear." Another low growl emanated from the man's large, muscular frame.

Logan flipped through the papers until he came to her picture. For just a moment his heart stoped and his breathing stilled. He had never seen such an elegant, beautiful and poised female outside of an Audry Hepburn movie. Her straight blood red hair was a shock and her dark emerald green eyes almost seemed alive in the picture, grabbing him in a vice grip. Not suprisingly, she was wearing an Acis Collins original. She did not look happy. There was an emptiness in her eyes that plumited deep into Logan's soul, the expression on her face was wary. All this from a 16 year old girl? She certainly did NOT look 16. Why did Woreman put her in his class ??? Why him ???

He slid his eyes to John, who was staring open mouthed at the picture. Logan was almost relieved, he didnt want to think it was just him, though the female teachers had an envious look on their faces and the others... well (insert expressions here)

"Please do your best, I doubt we can get rid of this situation. Now, " He passed out two more files. " Also coming from Collinsport will Keopp Tallaria, though not a Collins, Stearling or Gebheart, his family also has diplomatic immunity. I expect you to keep a tight reign on this boy ... " and with a tense voice "... as much as possible"

Logan looked at the file and tried not to smile, he could see John was trying not to as well, this one was a trouble maker, but not in a dangerous way. He was an exuberant talker, a practical joker, full of energy and mischievousness. An orderly person's worst nightmare. He had a friendly face, a large smile and sparkling violet eyes, surrounded by unruely curly red hair. He seemed ... incredably pale, rather like Brian VFalcore... he wondered if they were some how related, 5th cousins 12 times removed or something along those lines. He seemed like he would bring life into any class he walked in, and a certain amount of hysterical calamity. His grades were above average in normal classes but normal in ap classes. Looking at his records, he had a mixture of normal placement with AP. Logan was mildly looking forward to meeting this one.

"And lastly, Royal Stearling. He is not a behavior problem, and should be quite easy to handle. As far as I know. " Mr Woreman said while looking through his copy of the file, as if this were a surprise and he could not believe such a thing was possible from this individual. He was an above average student yet seemed to have all his classes with Keopp, Logan suspected that this was purposefully done in order to counter balance personalities. It seemed Royal - second syllable accented, had a very mild, straight forward, respectful and calm personality. He had sandy blond hair, falling past his shoulders, kept back neetly. He dressed, like Chaos, in an Acis Collins original and had very feline features. His almond shaped ambar eyes spoke of a deep understanding that most people his age did not possess, unlike Chaos's haunted eyes. His physique was lithe and sturdy and athletic, though, he didn't seeem to be interested in joining any sports.

"Considering thier diplomatic status and the sensitive nature of certain behavioral issues, I felt I should tell all of you this personally. It is certainly not my decision to have any of these disruptive influences here. " He sad as if Royal's record detailed a mass of violations. "DAMNIT WOMAN !" he yelped as Lois poured a bit of scalding coffe on his arm.

"Oh dear, my hand seemed to have slipped, let me get you some burn cream." She said far to brightly for any type of accident.

"and my pepto." Mr. Woreman growled. He then looked at all of them in a weary and tired way. "Good luck to you all." He said getting up and leaving, as if he was sending them out into battle.
